Mrs. Andrea Parson
I am a fourth grade teacher at Cumberland County Elementary School and started teaching in 2005. I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Western Kentucky University in Elementary Education. I have a Master's Degree at WKU with a focus in Library Media. Currently, I have started work on a second Master's Degree in School Counseling. I am also working on publishing my first children's book about autism! My husband is in the field of education and is the Principal at Cumberland County Middle School and the Pastor at Centerpoint Church of the Nazarene. We have a six-year old son, Ryan, who is such a joy! We live in Burkesville and we stay very busy with family and church events. Some of my accomplishments in education include being a 2010 Mickelson Exxon Mobil Academy attendee and being a 2012 and 2013 Kentucky Teacher of the Year Nominee. I am also a KY Internship Resource Teacher. I love teaching and cannot imagine doing anything else! I know it is my calling and I feel extremely blessed to be able to fulfill God's purpose for my life!
