Students used a checklist to reflect on a friendly letter we wrote to our pen pals in San Antonio, Texas. They highlighted what they felt they had completed in yellow. I used the same check list and highlighted what they did in blue. The things we agree upon, will then be green. This is a great visual to use as a formative assessment and reflection!
