During the past few weeks, we have been working really hard with fractions. This lesson focused on finding the fraction of a set. For example, they would have to find 2/3 of 21. We used counters today to model the problems. So if you have 21 counters, students divided them into three equal groups and then counted how many there would be in two of those groups, which would be 14.
